Two seats. One shared schedule.
Planners get the full editing seat — drag, optimize, accept. Everyone else who just needs to see the plan gets an inexpensive Viewer seat. Billing is per user: a company with n licensed Planners pays $699 × n. Microsoft bills both seat types.

SmartFlow depends on the Manufacturing module, which the Premium experience provides — true of any APS that touches routings and work centers. On the Essentials experience, SmartFlow tells you exactly what's missing instead of failing. The cloud optimizer runs on our hosted service; your tenant identifier and the scheduling data you select are sent over HTTPS and the scheduling data is not retained. Activating the extension also stores one record for your tenant in our own Azure storage — outside your Business Central environment — which persists after uninstall so a trial can't be reset by reinstalling. Both are set out in the privacy policy.
